Connecting to MacDiLL from Off Campus
If you have reached this page, it is most likely because you are attempting to connect to the MacDiLL server from an off-campus location. We are sorry for the inconvenience, this is an extra layer of security that has been added to the MacDiLL server to keep student audio recordings secure.
In order to connect to the MacDiLL from off campus, you will need to use a Virtual Private Network (VPN). Please visit this website to learn more about connecting to the University of Minnesota through a VPN.
New Information: When connecting via VPN, please use UofMvpn or Full Tunnel options. VPN connections using Split Tunnel option will not allow you to access the DiLL Server.
If you have problems setting up a VPN client on your computer, please call the Central Help Desk at 612-301-4357. They can help you.
Let them know that you need to connect with Full Tunnel option.
