Video Recording

Class activities can be remotely video recorded in both Jones 35 and 30 by Language Center Classroom Support staff.

Jones 35 is the recommended classroom with 3 cameras, 4 ceiling mikes and the ability to record any source sent to the classroom projector.

Video recording is done to computer with a DVD backup. Computer files can be shared with instructors almost immediately after a recording session through Media Mill.

Instructors who would like a have a DVD copy of the recording should bring in their own media. (DVD-R or DVD+R disks are recommended.)

If the video recording will be shown publicly after the class or presentation, all video recorded participants should grant permission for the recording. Participants can grant permission by completing the Videorecording Permission form.
