The Language Center has four reservable computer-equipped classrooms and a range of equipment that can be checked out by instructors for classroom use. The Language Center also has a large collection of DVDs and videotapes in many languages in both NTSC and PAL format. Keep reading to learn more about facilities and services available from the Language Center.
Three of the Language Center classrooms are Mac classrooms with Mac DiLL software developed by Northwestern University. This software creates an intuitive, simple-to-use audio lab solution. Visit these links for more information.

The Language Center has two sets of iClickers, a data projector, digital audio recorders, CD/audio tape players, portable DVD players, digital camcorders, and laptop computers (Mac or PC) available for checkout.

Please come to Jones 110 (phone reservations accepted for less than 48 hours in advance only) or use the Online Reservation to reserve Elsie rooms.
To request software installation on Language Center classroom or lab computers, please fill out a Software Installation Request and bring the form, software and licensing information to our main office, 110 Jones Hall.
In accordance with the Copyright Act of 1976, we cannot make copies of copyrighted material without express written consent of the copyright owner. You will be asked to provide licensing appropriate for the number of installations requested. Please allow at least two weeks to fulfill your request. Some requests may take longer due to staffing or availability.
